Comments on: what kind local store would i go to to buy a chicken coop and/or chicken coop building instructions?

Do you have any stores nearby called a Grange? Or a Home and
Garden shop, or, yes, a feed store.
You can find book in your local library, or they will order them for
you, that will tell you all about making a home for, and caring
for, your chickens. Librarians are wonderful people who don’t mind
questions being asked.

If you live out west, like say, in Texas, they probably have them in pet stores. So check there if your a western person. If you live not in the west, then maybe a store with horse, pigs etc. items. Good Luck!

go to the home depot buy some 2X4's, some plywood, some nails a hammer, some staples and chicken wire and build your own coup. cant take more than an hour or so.
